Joss Herd is a London based freelance food stylist, working in the industry for the last 25 years.  Initially trying her hand across various platforms such as TV, Commercials and Packaging, she decided to concentrate and specialise on the editorial side of stills food photography. 

Joss’ client list is vast, in the last 15 years her main client has been Waitrose, working across the publications on Waitrose Weekend Newspaper, Waitrose & Partners Magazine, Harvest Editions and more recently Recipe Cards. She also styles Point of Sale for seasonal products in store. She works in teams with world renowned photographers including Laura Edwards, Philip Webb, Dan Jones, Con Poulos, Kristin Perers, Kate Whitaker, Gareth Morgans and Tara Fisher. Working mainly out of London studios she also loves to travel and work on location. 

Over the years Joss has styled many books for authors including; New York Times food writer Melissa Clark, Harry Eastwood, Anjum Anand, Rachel Allen and more recently Diana Henry’s books, having styled the last 5 titles over the last 6 years.
